Our stay at Gislaholt in Borgarnes was very nice. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the amazing views surrounding the cottage. The mountains and expansive sky created a nice atmosphere. We were even lucky enough to witness the aurora borealis dancing above us, making our experience even more magical. The cottage itself was cozy, stylish, and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen, although small, was efficient and allowed us to cook delicious meals. The bathroom was modern and clean, providing us with the comfort we desired. Disconnecting from technology without a TV was a welcome change and allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the peaceful wilderness. Despite being advertised for 4 guests, we found the cottage to be more suitable for 2 people, as it felt a bit cramped with luggage for longer stays. these minor inconveniences did not detract from our overall enjoyable experience. We highly recommend Gislaholt in Borgarnes for a unique and lovely getaway.
